awsome zoo trip

Hi every body I am back!

Today we went in the hall with the three classes and we went and we sat in a line with our teachers. When we sat and we were quiet. Miss Fortes was reminding us about our Hay Park School  rules and our rules were  to be respectful, resilient and responsible and the most  important  rule is to thank the ritches and the warehouse because the warehouse let us go to the Auckland zoo for free so we don't have to waste our money and also Ritches because they let us on the bus for free and that is really nice so that is why we thank them a lot. When we went there was only two buses and room nine and some kids of room 8 went in one bus and room 6 went on the other bus. When we went on the bus to the zoo we were all quiet and we also did a challenge and the challenge was how many people will wave to you. Then we went under the knew tunnel and it was so dark and kind of fun as well and it took a while to finish the tunnel and when we got out of the tunnel we were at the motat and we went past it and we saw western spring then we saw the  sign that said Auckland zoo.Next what we did  is that we had to wait until Miss fortes  gives us a signal  to come out of the bus. Then when we got out of the bus we had to get in a line like we normally do at school. Then we went inside the Auckland zoo and when we went we saw a man and his name was John and he asked us a question and the question was what is my favorite  native bird?.Also John was  our   instructor for  our trip to  the native birds and  there was names and the names are kaka, tui, kea, wood pigeon and  the takahe. Then we  went on a trip to look at birds with John and it was kind of fun with John as well. Then we went to find a place to eat for morning tea and some people were because they had to walk around and their feet were sore. Then we traveled to Africa and Australia. Also when I went to Africa with my class and we saw tigers, lions, otters, turtles, fishes and more. Then we went to Australia and we saw a giraffe, zebra, flamingos, elephants and orangutan but we didn't get to see a real orangutan but that was sad.

Egg time

Last Friday we got to have some eggs it is not the eggs that we eat it is the chicken egg. There was this lady and her name was Jo and she works for living eggs. Also she talked threw about the chicken egg and after she talks threw about the chicken eggs there are egg monitors.Every single day the egg monitors have to fill in the water tray inside the incubator and also they have to clean the incubator and the brutal. Also they have to clean inside the brutal and what they do is that our teacher Miss Fortes  she will get out the little chickens and one person that is a egg monitor they have to hold a box and put newspaper inside and Miss fortes can get out the chicks and place them inside of the box. Then the other egg monitor cleans the brutal and picks up the paper towel and they also take out the news paper and they take out the water cup and the food cup and the egg monitor goes with the water cup and fills it while anthor egg monitor gets the food cup and fill it in with chicken food. Also here are the names of the egg monitor

What i observed from the past four days that the chicken it takes it time to crack out of a chicken egg and when it comes out of the egg it is wet and that is why we put the eggs inside of a incubator and the warmness should only be up to 37.7 degrees Celsius. Also I notice that when it comes out  of the egg it doesn't come out and its already fluffy you just have to wait some time. Also it tries to stand up but it doesn't and if you be quiet in your class you would hear it chirping and the same as the other chicks that are ready to be born. When they are ready to go in the brutal the teacher desides when it can go inside and what time.Scroll down! and there is my video
